Valves

Valves are mechanical devices used to control the flow of fluids (liquids, gases, or slurries) through a system. They regulate, direct, or control the flow by opening, closing, or partially obstructing passageways. Valves are essential components in various industries, including water treatment, oil and gas, chemical processing, heating and cooling systems, and more.

Gate Valve: Used to start or stop the flow of a fluid. They are typically either fully open or fully closed, with little flow regulation in between.
Globe Valve: Designed for regulating flow. They allow more precise control of fluid flow and are often used when throttling is required.
Ball Valve: A valve that uses a spherical ball to control the flow of fluid. It can quickly open or close the flow with minimal resistance.
Butterfly Valve: Uses a rotating disc to control the flow of fluid. It is ideal for handling large volumes of fluid and is often used in large-scale operations.
Check Valve: Allows fluid to flow in only one direction, preventing backflow.
Pressure Relief Valve: Automatically releases pressure from a system when it exceeds a predetermined limit to avoid damage to equipment.
Control Valve: Used to control the flow and pressure within a system, often automated by a controller.
